About HexWrite
HexWrite is a forensic hex editor for macOS — a binary file editor built for security engineers, reverse engineers, digital forensics examiners and developers. It opens multi-gigabyte binaries, disk images and memory dumps through block-mapped stream indexing, decodes any selection in the Data Inspector, disassembles ARM64 and x86 instructions live under the cursor, diffs two binaries side by side, and patches bytes with pre- and post-export digests — entirely offline, with Zero Telemetry.
HexWrite is developed by ProfWorkBench, LLC and distributed exclusively through the Mac App Store. It is free to download; Pro features are an in-app purchase, available as an annual subscription or a one-time lifetime unlock.

Byte-pattern scanning, embedded Lua scripting, Split View diffing and Surgical Export with fresh MD5 and SHA-256 digests round out the bench — all inside the macOS App Sandbox, with Zero Telemetry and no network entitlement. HexWrite is free to download on the Mac App Store, with Pro features available as an in-app purchase.
